Why Choose an Adult?

For many families, a puppy is not the right season of life.
House-training, teething, chewing, crate training, and the endurance of puppy energy may not be appealing—or realistic for their lifestyle.

An adult or young retiree is the perfect option for those who want to skip the early training stages and enjoy a dog who is:

• Past the puppy chaos

• Often crate and house trained

• Socialized and well-mannered

• Temperament tested

• In many cases, fully health tested

• Proven in structure and personality

For small breeding programs, some adults may already be proven, allowing you to see firsthand what they produce in terms of structure, temperament, and color genetics.
